Off the top of my head I was thinking 240Z, but the back looks too long and the hood too short.

And a muffler is all that was visible under the cover

Yeah, it’s a bit of a stretch, especially with that muffler, but I wanted to think a little differently. I was going to go with Alpine A310 at first, but that muffler wouldn't work with a rear engine.

It’s too small to be a 280ZX, and not enough bumper, unless it’s been de-bumpered. The muffler is half the reason I figured it wasn’t a Z, don’t they all have sideways oval mufflers?

I’d say the little bump/tear in the back middle is the hatch release that is sticking up.

I didn’t, but I might have to...everyone is pretty certain it’s a Z, and I don’t quite think it is for some reason.

It just looks like my Z covered, you have me second guessing myself but the shape is so Z. If it is a pretty decent series I or early II you should say, oh I have been looking for a project with so much time on my hands. I have always liked those Z cars, might you be willing to sell it?
